There is a clinical definition of what eating disorders are and you can find it here. However, people can get hung up on definitions and worry that one doesn't fit into any boxes.
Let's step back from the clinical definition and ask your self this:
Can you eat with spontenaity and on a whim go out with friends/family? (yes)
Do you feel guilt/shame after eating? (no)
Are you getting a variety of food from ALL food groups? (yes)
Do you take rest days from exercise? (yes)
Do you spend an excessive amount of time reading food labels? (no)
Do you avoid foods based on nutritional content? (no)
Do you avoid meals or snacks for fear of gaining weight? (no)
Are you isolating from social events if food is present? (no)
Are you eating all meals and snacks as defined by what your body needs? (yes)
Are you eating enough to fuel your sport? (yes)
If you answer differently from the answer after the question, contact Gray Area Nutrition for an assessment.
